Why families choose us

Care that feels local, standards you can trust

Travelling abroad for treatment is daunting. Our job is to remove the uncertainty: you get one team, one plan and one clear price — before you board your flight.

A team on the ground in Chengdu

Our coordinators live here. They know the campus, the departments, the registration windows and the practical details that make a hospital visit faster and calmer.

Communication without barriers

Translation for consultations, consent forms, test results and discharge instructions — so you understand every decision made about your own body.

Transparent, itemised pricing

Every quotation separates hospital charges from service fees and states what is excluded. Nothing is booked until you approve it in writing.

Confidentiality and a real contract

Medical records, images and personal details stay private. A signed service agreement defines scope, milestones, payments and cancellation terms.

Medical care in China

Before you commit, understand the hospital and the price

China's top teaching hospitals deliver complex care at a fraction of Western prices. We explain the system honestly — what is excellent, what is different, and what a realistic budget looks like.

  • Department-by-department strengths of West China Hospital and its affiliated hospitals
  • Indicative fees for consultations, imaging, surgery and hospital stays
  • A side-by-side comparison with typical costs in the United States and Europe
  • What to expect on arrival: registration, payment, language and waiting times
Core services

Four services that cover the whole journey

You can take them together as a complete package or choose only what you need. Everything is quoted in one transparent plan.

Trip and itinerary planning

Everything around the appointment: visa invitation documents, a schedule built around your consultation dates, flights, hotels close to the hospital, airport transfers and a clear day-by-day plan.

Specialist appointment booking

Getting in front of the right professor matters more than getting in quickly. We register you with the appropriate specialist or department, including international medical centres and multi-department case reviews.

Full accompaniment throughout

A coordinator meets you at the hospital door and stays with you — registration, payment, examinations, ward rounds, pharmacy collection and discharge paperwork.

Tailored travel between treatments

Recovery is part of treatment. With your doctor's clearance, we arrange gentle, private excursions around Sichuan — pandas, teahouses, ancient towns and hot springs — at a pace that suits your condition.

Extended services

Support that continues after you fly home

Treatment rarely ends at the airport. These services keep the connection between you and your Chinese medical team alive.

Recovery follow-up

Scheduled check-ins after discharge, help booking review appointments, and a written progress summary sent to your doctor at home.

Cross-border medication delivery

Compliant sourcing and shipping of prescription medication from China, with valid prescriptions, customs paperwork and cold-chain handling where required.

Remote consultation and report review

Ask a Chinese specialist without travelling. We arrange video consultations, translate pathology and imaging reports, and return a clear written translation.

How it works

A clear five-step path from first message to final payment

No vague promises. Each stage has a defined deliverable, and you approve before we move to the next one.

STEP 01Sign the service agreement
STEP 02Receive your tailored care plan
STEP 03Pay the service deposit
STEP 04On-the-ground execution
STEP 05Settle the balance on completion
Our commitments

Three promises written into every contract

No hidden fees

Hospital charges are paid directly to the hospital at published rates. Our service fee is stated separately and never inflated by the cost of your treatment.

Privacy first

Reports, images and personal data are shared only with the clinicians involved in your care, and only with your written consent. Files are deleted on request after your case closes.

Clear cancellation terms

If your plans change or a visa is refused, the contract sets out exactly what is refundable and what has already been committed on your behalf.

Common questions

Answers before you ask

Do I need to speak Chinese to be treated in China?
No. Most senior specialists read English medical literature and can discuss your case in English, but everyday hospital processes are in Chinese. Our coordinator translates throughout — consultations, consent forms, results and discharge — so nothing is lost in translation.
How far in advance should I plan?
For a specialist outpatient appointment, two to four weeks is usually comfortable. For surgery or admission, we recommend four to eight weeks so that records can be reviewed, a treatment plan confirmed and visa documents issued. Urgent cases are handled separately — tell us the timeline.
How much cheaper is treatment than in the US or Europe?
For many procedures, total costs in China are 50–80% below the United States. Figures vary widely by procedure and complexity. Our pricing page shows indicative ranges for common treatments, and we prepare a written estimate for your specific case before you commit.
Can you help with a medical visa?
Yes. We issue an invitation letter and appointment confirmation that you can present to the Chinese embassy or visa centre, and we guide you through the S-visa or M-visa documentation requirements for medical travel.
Are your medical records kept confidential?
Yes. We follow strict confidentiality practice, share files only with the clinicians treating you, and delete personal copies on request once your case is closed.
What if my treatment plan has to change?
Plans change, and that is normal in medicine. Your coordinator re-books appointments, adjusts the itinerary and revises the quotation with you. Any change to service fees is agreed in writing before it is applied.
